Position Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced Operations and Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, inventory, and logistics operations for a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll manage global and domestic vendor relationships, build scalable systems for efficiency and cost savings, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement, vendor management, and international freight relationships.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Implement inventory systems for tracking, forecasting, and replenishment.
- Collaborate with production to improve workflow and reduce lead times.
- Analyze supply chain data to find efficiencies and cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations, ideally in a manufacturing or product-based environment.
- Proven experience with international sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (MS Office Suite) and experience with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Proactive, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in the office furniture industry.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement frameworks.
- Working knowledge of systems such as QuickBooks and Salesforce.
